1. How do I set up a
reading?
Set up a reading via emailor
phone (646-784-3628). It will help to have the exact time, place and
date of your birth ready so I can run your astrological chart. (If you
don't have the exact time, a time-frame [i.e. between 6am-8am] would
help.) Cash is accepted in-person, and PayPal or Credit Card payments may be made before the start of the reading--just go to the services section of the site.
2. Where are you?
Currently, I'm on the Upper West Side, 106th + Columbus. The exact
address will be given when you book. I also travel to clients throughout Manhattan and Los Angeles when I'm there.
3. What about phone and email readings?
Sure thing. Just call or email, furnish your birthdate data and pay via credit card or
PayPal using my email address,
psychic1979@gmail.com. Just choose the length of reading you want in the Services section of the site.
4. How can you do phone or email readings without me being there?
Energy is energy. So whether I have your energy sitting next to me, on
the phone, or in the email you sent me, I can tune in and get
information. With email readings
it'll help if you ask me to answer specific questions and include the
names or even pictures of people you want more information about.
In-person, phone or email--none is better than the others; its
success depends on whatever the client finds the most comfortable
and convenient--email readings are great, for instance, because you can
refer back to what I wrote as opposed to having to remember or take
copious notes throughout our session. Still, some people like taking a
more active role in the reading and just prefer to see me in person.
5. How does the tarot work?
The tarot is a collection of 78 archetypal images rooted in collective
consciousness. Each one of us will "appear" in each of the major and
minor "scenes" of the tarot at some time or another. The way in which
the cards are
appear (the position, other cards nearby) tell of
a story or a situation that I interpret in conjunction with your energy.
6. How much should I disclose in a reading?
It's entirely up to you, but a balanced approach is best: Too much
information ("feeding the meter") could obfuscate an otherwise clear
channel. Too little information is a
waste of everyone's time.
7. I don't want to hear anything bad. Will you scare me?
Nah, I only relay information I believe will help you. This doesn't
mean that I only see the white picket fence, 2.5 kids--I see
reality, and show my clients what I see likely to occur, based on how
things are now. I also emphasis choices--how anyone can choose to do
anything at any moment: Howard the drunk could stop drinking, Mr.
Wonderful could start cheating, Miss Rich Bitch could go
bankrupt. But as things are now, Howard's a boozehound, your
hubby
doesn't appear to be cheating, and Miss Rich Bitch is doing her best
Joan Collins in a luxurious bath. Most importantly, I emphasize the
choices you can make in order to make your dreams manifest. I will say,
"If you want that, keep doing this," or "if you want that, you'll have
to stop doing this."
8. Do you do parties?
I do. It's $130/hourly, with a
two-hour minimum, plus the cost of
transportation. The shortest reading would be 7-9 minutes; so if you
have 20 people getting a reading, book me for 3 hours. If you
have less people and/or more money to spend, your guests get longer
readings and I'll gladly stay for up to 4 hours. Half of the deposit
fee is required to book the party; the remainder upon my visit. There's
a deposit option on the Party sub-section of the Services page; you may pay the whole party fee via PayPal or Credit Card as well.
9. What's a relocation chart?
Whereas a natal chart shows a snapshot of the heavens at the exact
time and place of your birth, a relocation chart shows those aspects
somewhere else. Due to time zone changes, who we are can substantially
change based on where we are in the world. For instance, I'm
double-Aquarius (Aquarius with an Aquarius rising) natally, from my
Boston-based birth. In NYC, though, I have a Capricorn rising, which
makes me more grounded; in LA, I have a Sagittarian
rising, making me more of a party animal. Knowing these differences
based on place is not only good for avoiding pitfalls, but for playing
up your strengths and expediting the growth inherent in living--or even
visiting--some place else in the world.
10. What's a psychometry reading?
Psychometry is a method of divination that reveals the energy around
objects or pictures. For instance, your grandmother's ring will tell
about her life; a picture of your boyfriend will give me
insight/information about him.
11. What's the chakra reading all about?
We all have millions of chakras (a Sanskrit word meaning 'wheel' or
'disk'). We have seven major ones, however, and their direction and
color determine our "energy" and physical, emotional, intellectual and
spiritual health. If you have trouble holding down a job, for instance,
your base or root chakra is most likely out of whack, and you'd benefit
from grounding exercises and the color red. If you have throat issues,
or problems speaking up for yourself, your throat chakra may out of
balance and you could benefit from singing as well as wearing the color
sky blue. In essence, the chakra reading endeavors to get your seven
chakras spinning in the
right direction and empowered with universal color energy.
12. Do you teach classes?
I do and I love to teach. Currently, I do one-on-one
sessions in which students and I work together to create a
curriculum based on what they wish to learn. Beginning classes create
a strong framework (i.e. Tarot Level 1, Astrology 1) upon
which
more advanced levels can be built.
